Day 9: A photo of your favorite park.
Animal Kingdom in WDW. This was difficult because every park has something I love about it. I love this park mostly because I love the animals. A lot of people think this is one you can skip, but I disagree. I love Kilimanjaro Safaris. You ride through what looks like the African Savannah and the animals are just so close to the vehicle. It’s amazing as long as you go right at park opening because that’s when the animals are out. Kali river rapids is one of the best water rides if you like getting wet! And of course Expedition Everest is so fun!! The Nemo show there is also really amazing. It is just a beautiful park with all the greenery and animals and it has some of the best rides. Love it.
Day 8: A photo of your favorite resort/hotel.
Animal Kingdom Lodge in WDW. This place is like magical. When I stayed here Mike and I stayed in a savannah view room at literally you saw the animals right outside your balcony. (highly recommend a savannah room). There are several viewing decks throughout the resort. The only downside is that it is far from the other 3 resorts, but on a plus side it is one of the least expensive of the deluxe resorts making it more realistic to stay here every time than say… The Polynesian resort. :P
Day 5: Favorite snack.
Ice cream. It’s not really a Disney trip without ice cream, but sadly I can’t seem to tolerate ice cream anymore. I’ve had pretty much all the ice cream choices throughout the parks. The Mickey ice cream bar, the Mickey ice cream sandwich, the Nestlé chocolate chip ice cream sandwich, Gibson Girl’s ice cream parlor’s chocolate dipped waffle cup, and similar at Burbank ice cream in California Adventure. I’ve had catch a flave soft serve ice cream swirled with cotton candy flavor in California Adventure. I even remember in 2000 the trip Mike and I took with his family to WDW they had special millennium ice cream bars that had caramel in them. Mike and I must have eaten a dozen of them because we bought one at every cart! I freaking LOVE ice cream while at a Disney Park!!!
Day 4: A photo of your favorite character to meet at the park.
Sorcerer Mickey. I’m not sure when or where my love of Mickey came to be, but I think I began to love Sorcerer Mickey after seeing Fantasmic for the first time. Either way some of the first gifts I remember Mike giving me were Sorcerer Mickey plushes, so of course Sorcerer Mickey has a special place in my heart. He’s incredibly hard to find at the parks to meet. I think I’ve met him once or twice in WDW when I waited in line at Mickey’s house. It was a very wonderful surprise to see it was that Mickey! He’s my favorite!
Day 3: Your favorite Land.
New Orleans Square. This is by far my favorite land! It has Pirates, The Haunted Mansion, and the Disney Gallery. Club 33 is also located here which I still don’t really know what that means exactly. My favorite restaurant, Blue Bayou is here. The food is mediocre at best here and way over priced but I love the atmosphere. It’s always nighttime with twinkling stars and the sound of crickets in there. Before having kids I ALWAYS had to eat here on every trip, IF we could get a reservation. New Orleans Square also has the Mint Julep bar and gumbo bread bowls. I also love the shops there especially the Christmas Shop! Then there is the cart with the personalized parasols… Yes I had one at one time. I love the atmosphere of this land.
Day 2: Favorite show
Fantasmic! The WDW version. I really only like this one better because I like the ampitheater there better. Otherwise I don’t think I really know the difference. The music stays in my head for days after. It’s exciting! I love the lights and the cartoons on the water. The character costumes and the huge animatronics are awesome too! Fantasmic also reminds me of when I was in dance because we did a number to Fantasmic one year. So I just love it.

Day 7: Photo representing your dream job
Disney Imagineer. (Well really I would prefer to be a stay at home mom, but I don’t think that is what this challenge is referring to.) I went to school to be an English teacher so I know nothing about engineering, but have loved the idea of being an imagineer for a long time. I think it would be neat to plan, design, and create Disney attractions and then to see the final outcome of that plan would be absolutely amazing. I used to draw out maps and plans of “new” Disney Parks and Attractions that I came up with. Unfortunately, I don’t have the drive to ever go back to school so this is truly just a fun dream!
Day 4: A photo of a place you’ve always wanted to visit but never have.
Tokyo Disney Resort. I have always wanted to go here. I am a Disney fanatic and absolutely love Disney World so this was a no brainer. Not only do I want to visit Tokyo Disneyland, but am I dying to visit Disney Sea. It looks amazing. Plus Tokyo Disney is located in Japan so that makes it even more awesome. I want to visit here so bad.
